A Physical Score of Dave Malloy’s ‘Hero’
During the first wave of the pandemic, locked in her apartment, Madeleine worked on building a physical score for the song, 'Hero' from Dave Malloy's Ghost Quartet. It was important to her that although filmed, it felt theatrical, therefore it’s shot in one take. This piece was devised as a means to explore object relationship, the breaking and subverting of expectation, and creating environments that foster surprise and a little bit of chaos.
