A Little About Me…

Hi there!

My name is Madeleine, but most people call me Maddy. My pronouns are she / her / hers. I am an actor, movement choreographer and educator. I grew up under the blue skies and bright sun of San Diego, California. I am definitely solar powered - Put me in the sun for five minutes and I’m happy.

After earning a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Music Theatre, an Honors in Acting, as well as a minor in Education from UC Irvine, I left the west coast for New York City. Eventually I found my way up to Providence, RI where I completed my Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Brown University + Trinity Repertory Company. At Brown I discovered my love for movement, Viewpoints and devised theatre. I am interested in work that’s weird, human, and full of questions.

Whether it be through education, music, theatre or film, I believe that storytelling moves people to a place of change and betterment, and I want to be a part of that movement. I hope to bridge worlds and bring people to a greater state of empathy and understanding. I want to engage in work that challenges our assumptions and biases, and promotes stories of joy and healing.
